Teledyne to purchase test gear maker LeCroy
May 29, 2012Teledyne Technologies Inc. has reached an agreement with (NYSE:TDY) and LeCroy Corp. (NASDAQ:LCRY) to merge LeCroy with a wholly owned subsidiary of Teledyne. To complete the agreement, Teledyne plans to acquire all of the outstanding common shares of LeCroy for $14.30 per share payable in cash. The aggregate value for the transaction is approximately $291 million.

May 29, 2012The Dell’Oro Group says in a newly published report that first quarter 2012 revenue for access equipment (cable, DSL, and PON) including infrastructure equipment and CPE declined 8% sequentially. The shrinkage was significantly smaller than reported by Infonetics Research, which pegged the dropped at 22% .
