OMRON demos 14-Gbps bidirectional optical module
June 18, 2012OMRON Network Products, LLC last week demonstrated the P1xX6B-SX51x-02A Data Module, a new bidirectional optical module capable of transmitting 14 Gbps downstream and 155 Mbps upstream over a single multimode fiber. The module can support transmission distances from 300 m to 1 km.
