Source Photonics introduces the 10G EPON symmetric OLT transceiver in XFP form factor. The module is compliant to the 10/10G Base PR30 optical interface requirements and the INF-8077 MSA. The 10G EPON transceiver module provides sufficient downstream and upstream bandwidth to support multi-family residential building (Multi Dwelling Unit or MDU) customers. Its real time signal strength indication and digital diagnostic interface provide the advanced and flexible features for module applications.

To complete the end-to-end 10G EPON PON solution, Source Photonics also announces the availability of the 10G EPON symmetric ONU in SFP+ form factor. The 10G EPON ONU complies with 10/10G Base PR30 optical interface requirements and SFP+MSA. The ONU is ideal to address the low power consumption requirement of Fiber to the Business/Node/Curb (FTTB/N/C) business applications.
