Indonesian optical LAN deployment applies GE-PON from OKI
April 25, 2012OF Networks (OFN), an OKI group company, says it has supplied GE-PON systems for the deployment of an optical LAN in Tanah Datar, West Sumatra, Indonesia. Performed with the cooperation of the local Telecommunication Technology Committee (TTC), this is the first optical LAN deployment using GE-PON by a municipality in Indonesia, Oki says.
