Masergy deploys ADVA FSP 150 to delivery Ethernet service

The FSP 150 and its Etherjack technology provide Masergy with service visibility and and end-to-end monitoring. Via a range of remote operations, administration, and maintenance (OAM) features, the FSP 150 enables Masergy to test its network and address issues before they affect services, ADVA asserts. These features enable Masergy to establish and enforce strict service-level agreements (SLAs).

The FSP 150 monitors availability, latency, jitter and packet loss, says ADVA. These parameters are critical for verifying SLA conformance and providing an advanced indication of performance degradation before a service outage occurs, the company adds.
