FarEasTone selects Transmode for Taiwan optical metro networks

Transmode says FarEasTone chose the TM-Series platform after rigorous testing where flexibility and scalability were the key selection criteria. FarEasTone's network team worked with Transmode and Opnet Technologies, a local value added reseller, to roll out TM-Series platforms initially across a six-node point-to-point optical network.

"FarEasTone is delighted with the solution supplied by Transmode and Opnet, which has improved our connectivity and service to our customers. The implementation was swift and cost-effective. In addition we were able to easily integrate the Transmode network management platform with our OSS and BSS systems," said Richard Tseng, manager of the Network & Solution Planning Department of FarEasTone Taiwan.
