Fibertech appoints Miner & Lasher to staff
Fibertech Networks, a provider of fiber optic bandwidth services, announced two appointments to its operations and CAD department at the Rochester headquarters.
Marvin Miner of Irondequoit was hired as NOC maintenance analyst where he is responsible for monitoring the Fibertech network and resolving customer service issues.
Miner has more than 15 years of experience in information technology, most recently serving at Frontier Communications. Miner is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology and earned a Master of Science from SUNY Brockport.
Laura Lasher of Perinton has also joined Fibertech as design and drafting representative where she is responsible for drafting proposed fiber optic network routes both in and outside of customer locations.
With an expertise in civil site design, Lasher has more than six years of experience in the engineering industry. Lasher is a graduate of Finger Lakes Community College holding an associate’s degree in architecture design and drafting.
